Castledare Village

Aged Care Find welcomes Castledare Village in Wilson, WA 6107 residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms by bringing items from their previous home.

Castledare Village was opened in 1998 and consists of a nursing home hostel and 46 independent living units.

Balmoral House is a 12 bed high care facility, while Fleming House is a secure, special needs low care facility. Meares House and MacLeod House are both low care.

Each house has private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, built in robes and reverse cycle airconditioning as well as a telephone which residents are charged for directly by the service provider. There is also a kitchen / dining room, family room and formal lounge in each house.

Other amenities on-site include a community centre with a hairdressing and beauty salon, and a chapel.

Castledare Village is set on attractive grounds and is a short stroll to the Canning River.

Physiotherapy and occupational therapy assessments are carried out on site with treatment being provided as required. A Podiatrist, Hairdresser and Beauty Therapist visit the facility on a regular basis. Bus trips are held each week at a very reasonable cost.

Residents are encouraged to choose their own doctor who will be asked to visit according to the needs of the resident. Residents' medications and medical items are supplied by a local pharmacy from which they receive their own monthly accounts.
